13 or 14 pitch
«

since my last question, i have been given a prop of the right size, but instead of being a 14 pitch which is the size i need, it is a 13. does anyone know what,if any, difference this would make? it is for a 60hp mariner on an alaska 500 boat, 18 foot, planing hull.
any advice would be much appreciated.

You should gain around 200 more r.p.m's a little less top speed
but faster getting on plane.
